Local Community Coordinators are qualified professionals who work with individuals, vulnerable adults, people with disabilities and carers experiencing difficulties and issues.
The LCC use extensive knowledge of community resources to connect people to their communities and get the help and support they need.
If you or someone you know needs help with issues such as losing their independence or loneliness and isolation, get in touch with the team to see how they can help.
There are Local Community Coordinators for three cluster areas of the borough.

Bridgend Carers Centre provides regular social gatherings for carers to meet, share experiences and support each other. The centre can provide training to help carers with their role, activities such as yoga, tai chi, and arts and crafts, as well as group meetings where carers can talk with others in a similar situation.
You’ll also find a wellbeing section on Bridgend Carers website with handy Tai Chi and meditation videos.
