The aim of the Young Carers Network is to provide a platform for Young Carers and Young Adult Carers to have their voice heard and acted upon. The network is driven by Young Carers Ambassadors and holds large events on a termly basis attracting 80 plus young cares allowing insight, learning and co-production to take place.
As part of the network, “We Are Valued Days” have been developed – driving wellbeing opportunities for young carers forward, with the premise of ensuring young carers can have a day doing something they like, and linked to supporting their wellbeing, but also making new friends with other young carers across Bridgend.
