KPC Youth and Community

KPC is a charitable organisation in Pyle which provides a safe and nurturing environment for children, young people and those who impact on their lives. KPC does this by providing training, recreation, advice, support and creating opportunities to improve well-being for all

Weekly events include youth nights with separate sessions for primary school age and comprehensive school ages.

Bridgend Youth Council

The youth council meets monthly at Bridgend Civic Offices and consists of a mayor, cabinet members and teams of youth councillors. It is set up and run by local young people, and is an entirely separate entity from Bridgend County Borough Council. You could join if you’re aged 11 to 25, and want to make a difference for young people. YMCA

Porthcawl YMCA runs a weekly junior youth club (8-12 year olds) and a senior youth club (12-18 year olds) during term time www.porthcawlymca.co.uk

Bridgend YMCA runs these weekly events:

LGBQT+ youth club
A social club to provide a safe, non-judgmental and supportive space for young people to have fun, meet friends and most importantly learn to be themselves.

Young people can take part in workshops and activities or just to simply catch up with friends.

ALN Youth Club
A youth club for young people ages 11 – 21 years old with additional learning needs. Activities range from playing basketball, table football and pool, to creative activities, film nights and more.

Emotional Health Project
Young people will meet new friends, increase their emotional resilience, self-esteem and confidence through a wide range of activities.

ASD Junior Club
The youth club gives both diagnosed and undiagnosed children aged 8-12 the opportunity to socialise, spend time with their peers, develop friendships, to develop social skills such as sharing, turn taking and take part in a variety of structured and unstructured activities.
